Dr. Yentyl Williams is an international trade and development consultant, lecturer, and author with over 15 years of experience in sustainable development, trade policy, and SME capacity building. She is currently Technical Consultant – Trade at the JMEA and Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, UWI Mona. She is co-editor of Intellectual Property and Cannabis (Edward Elgar, 2025), the first interdisciplinary publication on IP and cannabis. She has advised the European Commission, UN ITC, World Bank, WIPO, and COLEACP. Yentyl holds a PhD in Law from the University of Bristol and is fluent in English and French with working knowledge of Spanish and Italian.
