Why Substack?

Alongside the Saltwater Reasonings podcast and this website, I write on Substack as a more informal, reflective space.

While the website blog holds finished pieces, public-facing essays, and curated reflections, Substack is where I stay closer to process. It is where I write fieldnotes after conversations, sit with questions that are still forming, and think out loud about method, relation, and care.

Some of what begins on Substack may later appear here in revised form. Many pieces will remain there, held in the moment they were written.

If you are interested in Global South ways of knowing, decolonial research practice, and the slow work of reasoning together, you are welcome to join me there.
